Support
Gerrymeandering is a districting puzzle game for iOS, Android and the web. If something is broken, confusing, or you want a leaderboard entry taken down, email hello@subastra.dev and we will get back to you. There is no account to sign into, so just tell us what happened, which device you are on, and which mode you were playing.
Report a leaderboard name
Leaderboard display names are typed by players. Every name is checked automatically against a word filter on our server before it is accepted, and rejected names never appear — but no filter catches everything, and nobody reads names by hand. If you see one that is offensive, impersonates someone, or contains personal information, email hello@subastra.dev with the name and the board it is on. We remove reported names.
Remove your own leaderboard entry
Email hello@subastra.dev with the display name you posted and we will delete it from every board. No account or proof of identity is needed — there is no account to prove.
Common questions
- Where is my progress saved? On your device only. There is no cloud save, so uninstalling the app or clearing its storage erases stars, campaign progress and settings permanently, and progress does not follow you to a new phone.
- Do I need an account? No. The game has no login. A leaderboard display name is optional and is only used to label your entry on the public boards.
- The leaderboard says it can't reach the server. The boards need a network connection. Everything else in the game works offline; scores you post while offline are kept on your device only.
- Can I turn off the ads? Not in this version — there are no in-app purchases yet. The App Store and Google Play builds show occasional full-screen ads between levels; the browser version shows none.
- Can I replay the tutorials? Yes — Settings → Tutorials → Reset tutorials.
- Is the map data real? State outlines and populations come from the U.S. Census Bureau and partisan lean from county-level 2024 presidential results. Precincts are simulated from that public data, not real precinct boundaries.
